Principal Product Designer
I’m a principal product designer with deep experience building products that earn trust across consumer and enterprise. From the first sketch to millions of users, I work where strategy meets craft. Shaping the vision, leading through execution, and leaving teams and systems better than I found them.
I live in Minneapolis, MN. Outside of work you'll probably find me thrifting, restoring vintage furniture, building something, tending to the native pollinator garden, or just enjoying life with my wife and dog.
I shape what gets built before a single pixel is placed. Framing the problem, clarifying the opportunity, defining the design model, and creating the north star that holds decisions together throughout execution.
I build the underlying layer that makes design scale: component systems, architecture & decision frameworks, shared language, and the patterns that let teams move fast without drifting apart.
I build trusted relationships with engineering, product, and cross-functional partners. I believe in shared ownership over outcomes rather than a handoff dynamic that tends to erode quality and accountability.
I genuinely enjoy helping other designers level up, whether that's through critique, career conversations, sharing lessons I've learned along my journey, or just thinking through hard problems together.
My career has spanned consumer products at scale, enterprise tools with complex workflows, and systems where design and business outcomes are measured in the same breath. I’ve worked inside fast-moving startups finding their form, and inside larger organizations where the challenge is preserving quality while moving at pace. Across all of it, I have extensive experience operating at the most senior individual-contributor level, shaping direction, driving execution, and building the teams and systems around me.
