Design leader & principal IC
I’m a principal product designer with deep experience building products that earn trust across consumer and enterprise. From the first sketch to millions of users, I work where strategy meets craft. Shaping the vision, leading through execution, and leaving teams and systems better than I found them. I care about the work the way it takes to get it right.
I live in Minneapolis, MN with my wife and dog. When I’m not working I am probably hunting for, or restoring vintage Danish modern furniture or collectible objects, working with my hands, or doing something outdoors.

I build real working relationships with engineering, product, and leadership. Shared ownership over outcomes rather than a handoff dynamic that erodes quality and accountability.
I’ve built the conditions for design orgs to operate at their best: hiring, leveling, critique culture, research practice, and the rituals that keep quality high under pressure.
My career has spanned consumer products at scale, enterprise tools with complex workflows, and systems where design and business outcomes are measured in the same breath. I’ve worked inside fast-moving startups finding their form, and inside larger organizations where the challenge is preserving quality while moving at pace. Across all of it, I have extensive experience operating at the most senior individual-contributor level, shaping direction, driving execution, and building the teams and systems around me.
